Omega-3 breaks down into EPA and DHA. EPA is for fighting inflammation; DHA is for brain function and nerve health. You will find both in any fish oil that you buy in a reputable health foods store.
Just make sure that for improving brain function you’ll need about 1,500mg of DHA daily.
And likewise, an athlete fighting inflammation should take fish oil that provides at least 1,500mg of EPA daily.
